ONKOS SURGICAL PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy policy describes how Onkos Surgical processes the information that we collect when you interact with our website or social media platforms, when you contact us,  and purchase our products, as well as what choices you have with respect to your information.

WHAT WE COLLECT

Onkos Surgical collects and receives two types of information; (i) personal information which is information that identifies you directly or indirectly such as your name, address, phone number, or email address; and (ii) anonymous data which does not directly or indirectly identify and cannot be used to identify you. We also create aggregated information that is collected and created from multiple sources using individual level data which does not identify and cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

  • Information we obtain from a third party, such as a site or platform provider, about use of our applications on third-party platforms or devices.

HOW WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION

  • We collect information you provide us when you contact us or interact with our social media platforms.
  • We collect information through a variety of technologies, such as cookies, Flash cookies, pixels, tags and other tracking technologies, including when you visit our website and or social media platforms. By using the www.onkossurgical.com, you agree to be bound by our Cookie Policy but you have choices with respect to data collection including Do Not Track and disabling cookies.
  • We may also partner with third-party vendors to allow tracking technologies and collect information using first party cookies and third-party cookies for website analytics. By accessing the any content on www.onkossurgical.com or any of Onkos Surgical’s social media platforms, you consent to the collection and use of your information by these third-party vendors. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Onkos Surgical will use information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, as required by applicable law, and in furtherance of our legitimate interests in operating our business and website including:

  • To communicate with you about features on our website and social media platforms or changes to our policies;
  • To operate, understand, optimize, develop, or improve our website, applications, and business, including by using analytics tools; and
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent activities that may violate our policies, pose safety issues, or be fraudulent or illegal;

If Information is aggregated or de-identified so that it is no longer reasonably associated with an identified or identifiable natural person, we may use it for any business purpose.

HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We will not share your personal information with a third party outside Onkos Surgical except in limited circumstances, including:

  • When companies perform services on our behalf, such as marketing analytics, advertising, hosting services, and data security and storage. We do not disclose information to other companies to allow them to market their products or services to you but we may disclose or use aggregated data for any purpose.

YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

This section provides additional details about the personal information we collect about California consumers and the rights afforded to them under the California Consumer Privacy Act or “CCPA.”

For more details about the personal information we have collected over the last 12 months, including the categories of sources, please see the Information What We Collect section above. We collect this information for the business and commercial purposes described in the How We Use Your Information section above. We share this information with the categories of third parties described in the How We Share section above. Onkos Surgical does not sell (as such term is defined in the CCPA) the personal information we collect (and will not sell it without providing a right to opt out). Please note that we do use third-party cookies for our advertising purposes as further described in our Cookie Policy.

Subject to certain limitations, the CCPA provides California consumers the right to request to know more details about the categories or specific pieces of personal information we collect (including how we use and disclose this information), to delete their personal information, to opt out of any “sales” that may be occurring, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
